We support students in Low Income Countries in the Caribbean (CARICOM) nations and those in East Africa (in the EAC).
Eligible applicants must be in the final year (and will graduate within 12 months of the application) or have graduated from a recognized secondary school (i.e. a high school level educational institution) that has been approved by the Foundation’s Scholar Selection Committee. Students may also be enrolled in a qualified university or technical school.
The student’s curriculum must be broad based and must have covered courses in general sciences, mathematics, local language, with a preference for
applicants who are multilingual (i.e. local language plus English or French or other internationally recognized language).
The student must have graduated in the top 20th percentile of the class or have a class ranking in the top 20th percentile.
